The third night of the tournament was pretty chalky aside from the Texas upset over Gonzaga.
With 8 games taking place on Saturday, only five people had all eight Saturday games picked perfectly.
- 19-year veteran Danny Payne, who did it twice
- 14-year veteran Steve Schirber
- 16-year veteran David Bayer
- 10-year veteran Sean Tarantino
- 12-year veteran and current reigning champion Matt Davis
Of all those people it was Danny Payne who climbed seven spots to take sole possession of first place. This is Payne’s very first time atop the standings in his 19-year career. Out of those 19 years, he’s been in the top ten, 7 of those years.
In a tie for second were Steve Schirber and once again, Danny Payne, at a full point behind.
The biggest rise of the day was 12-year veteran Kacie Liebl who moved 435 spots to 85th overall after going 7-for-8 for the day.

In our Survivor Pool, we started the day with 46 people. After the big Gonzaga upset and the Vanderbilt loss, ten people went down and were eliminated.
Heading into day three, only 36 people remain. Four people lead the way in seed points: Chris Davis, Danny Payne, Megan Royer, and Nicole Gillock
And remember, past Survivor picks can always be found on the front page.

In the First Family pool, not much has changed. The Punch family and Nugent family are in a tie for first in the 4-6 division. Meanwhile, the Miller family who are no strangers to winning First Family lead the 7-9 division.
In Couple Up, Danny Paye and Ashely Prust are in first with a big early lead but a lot can change.

This year’s Anchor Award goes to 19-year veteran Zack Miller. Miller ended with just 6 correct picks and 7.5 points. While Miller didn’t break the record of four correct picks and 5.5 points set by Henry Pilar in 2019, it was quite a valiant effort. Miller’s 7.5 point showing was good for 5th lowest point total of all time.
