The Sweet 16 was pretty chalk which meant not a lot of movement in the standings.
2-year veteran Diego Carillo still holds a very slim lead in first. Carillo has now been in first for four days of the tournament which has only been accomplished nine times in the history of the pool. Only once has that person gone on to win it all, Andrew Punch back in 2019.
He is closely followed by rookie Aaron Ryan who is half a point back, and then 16-year veteran Brandon Pope and 15-year veteran Jared Liebl are a full point behind Carillo.
With mostly 1 and 2 seeds advancing, that led the way to multiple perfect Elite 8s selected. In all, 37 people had a perfect Elite 8, this includes 8 people who make up the top 10.

In our Survivor Pool, all 19 people made it to see another day. There were zero strikes. The Elite 8 round is always good for some eliminations.
