Day 4 Recap – March 25: The Sweet 16 Is Set

It’s always bittersweet on Sunday night. The best four-day stretch of sports is over. The excitement leading up to filling out the brackets, the tip-off of the Thursday games, trying to locate TruTV, it’s all behind us now.

With that, the first and second rounds are all behind us. After 48 games, 5-year veteran Gabe Seller sits atop of the leaderboard by three and a half points. For Seller, this is his 10th appearance in the top ten and first appearance ever in 1st. Seller started the day in 2nd but after going 15 for 16, he now sits in sole possession of first place by the largest margin in this year’s tournament so far.

In 2nd place was 17-year veteran Eddy Brotemarkle who went 13 for 16 and moved four spots from Saturday.

Rounding out the top three was rookie Rob Garcia who remained in 3rd place to end the weekend.
