It is getting close. We know one of the four teams headed to the Final Four.
Illinois took down Iowa to start the Elite 8 games and will now be one of four teams to vie for all the marbles next weekend.
Only 53 brackets had the Fighting Illini to advance to the Final Four including 16-year veteran Scott Lloyd who moved up 11 spots into a tie for first place.
Also choosing Illinois was 11-year veteran Grant Droegemeier who shot up 13 spots to 3rd place. Grant is in a rare position. Two of his siblings, Noah and Claire, are former champions and he is looking to be the third person in his family to win it all.
Other notable Illinois selections were 14-year veteran Mandy Tyler and 3-year veteran Taryn Janes who both are now tied for 4th place.
