Day 7 Recap – March 28: Half of the Final Four is Set

Half of the Final Four is set and with that, we are inching closer to who just might take home the championship along with the ebTalk Benefit Pool title.

Following wins by Arizona and Illinois, we have two people tied at the top of the standings.

16-year veteran, Scott Lloyd, moved 11 spots to a tie for first with fellow 16-year veteran David Bayer who was already in the lead going into Saturday night’s games.

Both sit at 83 points.

It’s Bayer’s second time at the top of the standings with the first appearance happening last night.

For Lloyd, it’s a long time coming. His last time at the top of the standings took place eleven years ago on Saturday, March 21, 2015.

Rounding out the top three is is a 4-way tie of:

  • 14-year veteran Steve Schirber
  • 4-year veteran Megan Abbott
  • 14- year veteran Mandy Tyler
  • 3-year veteran Taryn Janes

It’s also worth noting that only 36 people went 2 for 2 on Saturday night.

Currently, the five brackets who have the best odds of winning it all are:

  • Greyson Barger 5
  • Megan Abbot 1
  • Gresyon Barger 2
  • Emily Peaden 1
  • Scott Lloyd 2

The biggest jump in the standings went to 13-year veteran Dan Miller who went 2-2 on Saturday night to move 250 spots up to 205th place.

In First Family, it’s the same song and dance we had yesterday. The Miller family remains in control of the 7-9 division, while the Punch family stills leads the 4-6 division.

In couple up, last night’s leaders Chad & Robyn Cook are now tied with Scott & Deb Lloyd for first.

In OVERTIME, only two perfect brackets remain. Lonnie Coleman and Zack Miller lead the charge in OT.

The front page has been updated with complete standings, people’s picks and tie-breakers.

In our Survivor Pool, we started with 9 people but are now down to just six.

Good luck on your picks and remember, past Survivor picks can always be found on the front page.
