Some incredible games took place Friday night to set us up for what should be an unpredictable Elite 8.
The last two nights saw 22 people go 6 of 8 on the Sweet 16 games including 16-year veteran David Bayer who shot up 10 spots to move into first place.
For the 16-year veteran, this is David’s first time ever sitting atop the leaderboard at the end of the day. He has though 8th, 9th and 10th place overall in three separate years.
In a tie for second place is 14-year veteran Steve Schirber who remains where he started the day. Then it was 4-year veteran Megan Abbott who went 6-for-8 to shoot up 10 spots into a tie for second overall.
Of note, only one person went 7 of 8 during this round. That’s 3-year veteran Taryn James who only missed the Iowa game.

In First Family, it’s the same song and dance we had yesterday. The Miller family remains in control of the 7-9 division, while the Punch family stills leads the 4-6 division.
In couple up, we have new leaders Chad & Robyn Cook who now lead Danny Payne and Ashley Prust by one point.

In OVERTIME, only two perfect brackets remain. Lonnie Coleman and Zack Miller lead the charge in OT.
