63 games…. and just like that it is all over.
With the Florida Gators taking home the natty, it was 11-year veteran Matt Davis who cleaned up and took home the 2025 ebTalk championship.

Here’s Davis’ accomplishment for this year’s pool:
- 2025 ebTalk Benefit Pool Champion
- Broke the single season scoring record with 132.5 points
- Almost won Overtime but fell to second place due to tiebreakers (would have been the first to win the pool and OT in the same season)
- Took second place in Couple Up with his wife Courtney
- Became the all-time leader in career earnings surpassing the $3,000 mark
On the other side, the Houston Cougars loss prevented Tammy Miller from becoming the first person in the 18-year history of the pool to become a 2-time champion.
Around the rest of the pool, it was The Hobbs family who took home the 7-9 family division while the Mears won the 4-6 division.
In couple up it was TJ and Sarah Morris who took first. In a cool twist, the couple also finished 3rd and 4th in the overall pool.
Moving on to Overtime, Scott Rogers bested Matt Davis via tie-breakers to take first.
In the Survivor pool, Emery Brotemarkle and Nick Lisauskas both had Houston for their final pick so the winner of Survivor came down to Total Seed Points where Emery beat Nick by two points to win Survivor.
The final game also awarded to $325 in square wins to Emma Koehn and Emery Brotemarkle.
And that does it for 2025! See you all next year!
