Following this morning’s 6/11 upset, we have our first 5/12 upset. The Richmond Spiders defeated Iowa to advance to the next round and play Providence.
Five brackets had Iowa going the distance: Michelle McCracken, Trey Doty, Greyson Barger, Noah Bramble, and Steph Mathis. Another five people also chose Iowa as their Survivor pick.
In total, 71 people had Richmond defeating Iowa. And with that, we only have 12 perfect brackets left. Out of those 71 people, 17 brackets have them advancing to the Sweet 16.
